The Wedding
The personalities of Miriam and Tom were clearly reflected in their chosen events of the day. As the guests mingled in the courtyard, there was a lot of laughter, drinks and love shown. The service, held in a secluded part of the grounds of Bore Place, had its own quirky features. You could see the pride in Miriam’s father’s eyes as he walked her up the aisle. What a special moment that was. Prior to the rings being exchanged, they passed through the hands of the guests until they made their way to the celebrant to symbolise everyone’s presence, acceptance and blessing.
Following the ceremony, I snuck the newlyweds to the surrounding grounds for a quick couple shoot and the results were spectacular. The natural chemistry was more than enough to produce amazing pictures. The level of comfort made it so easy.
During the reception, there were some funny speeches and the best-man (Tom’s brother) addressed Miriam’s family in German which was a special and personal touch. The first dance, including the party, took place under the summer’s stars, in the courtyard of Bore Place.
